Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FatChance, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information.

FatChance is a U.S.-focused restaurant nutrition and meal-decision tool. It presents reviewed menu information, calculations, filters, comparisons, saved work, meal-building tools, and personalized match explanations. Some features are free and others require an active FatChance PRO entitlement.

• Restaurant information can change, be incomplete, or contain errors. Portions, ingredients, preparation, and cross-contact can vary by location.
• Unknown nutrition values remain unavailable; FatChance does not treat them as zero.
• Match results are FatChance calculations based on available information and your settings. They are not restaurant claims or health grades.
• Allergy controls are reminders, not safety guarantees. Confirm important ingredients and preparation practices directly with the restaurant.
• FatChance is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Consult a qualified professional for individual health needs.

Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify Support if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address misuse.

Subscription plans, trial eligibility, duration, localized price, billing period, and renewal price are shown on the offer screen before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew through Apple or Google unless canceled through the applicable store before renewal. Store rules control billing, cancellation, and refunds. Restore Purchases can reconnect an eligible store purchase.

Deleting your FatChance account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel or manage the subscription with Apple or Google separately. Paid features may change as the product evolves, but FatChance will not represent unavailable features as part of an offer.

You may not:

• Use the service unlawfully, deceptively, or to harm another person.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, subscription checks, rate limits, or account security.
• Interfere with the service, upload malicious code, scrape at disruptive scale, or misuse feedback and support channels.
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its compiled catalog except where applicable law permits.

FatChance grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app while you comply with these Terms. Restaurant names, menu content, images, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms and policies.

If you submit feedback, you allow FatChance to use it to operate, correct, and improve the service without compensation, while personal information remains governed by the Privacy Policy.

We may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service. We do not guarantee that every restaurant, item, feature, or data source will always be available or current.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” FatChance disclaims warranties that cannot be supported by the service and is not responsible for restaurant preparation, ingredient changes, third-party services, or decisions made without independently confirming critical information. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
