Terms of Service

FatChance is provided by Benchlight Studio LLC. These Terms are an agreement between you and Benchlight Studio LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using FatChance, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information.

FatChance’s restaurant data currently covers U.S. locations and menus. Menu items, portions, ingredients, and nutrition information may differ in other countries. This data coverage does not limit privacy or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

FatChance is a restaurant nutrition and meal-decision tool. It presents reviewed menu information, calculations, filters, comparisons, saved work, meal-building tools, and personalized match explanations. Some features are free and others require an active FatChance PRO entitlement.

FatChance helps you decide what to eat. It does not place restaurant orders, process restaurant payments, or provide delivery. Links can take you to a restaurant’s official website or app to order, or to an external map service for directions to a nearby location. Your meal selections are not automatically transferred to a restaurant’s cart. Confirm your order, prices, and availability with the restaurant. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

• Restaurant information can change, be incomplete, or contain errors. Portions, ingredients, preparation, and cross-contact can vary by country and location.
• Unknown nutrition values remain unavailable; FatChance does not treat them as zero.
• Match results are FatChance calculations based on available information and your settings. They are not restaurant claims or health grades.
• Allergy controls are reminders, not safety guarantees. Confirm important ingredients and preparation practices directly with the restaurant.
• FatChance is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Consult a qualified professional for individual health needs.

We use limited product analytics to improve setup, features, and reliability. Usage analytics can be turned off without losing access to app features. Our Privacy Policydescribes the data we handle, our service providers, and your controls.

Keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify Support if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address misuse.

Subscription plans, trial eligibility, duration, localized price, billing period, and renewal price are shown on the offer screen before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew through Apple or Google unless canceled through the applicable store before renewal. Store rules control billing, cancellation, and refunds. Restore Purchases can reconnect an eligible store purchase.

Deleting your FatChance account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel or manage the subscription with Apple or Google separately. Paid features may change as the product evolves, but FatChance will not represent unavailable features as part of an offer.

You may not:

• Use the service unlawfully, deceptively, or to harm another person.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, subscription checks, rate limits, or account security.
• Interfere with the service, upload malicious code, scrape at disruptive scale, or misuse feedback and support channels.
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the app or its compiled catalog except where applicable law permits.

FatChance is an independent menu-information and decision-support service. Unless expressly stated, FatChance is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any restaurant, restaurant parent company, franchisee, delivery service, or ordering platform.

FatChance uses restaurant and menu-item names to identify the restaurants and products discussed in the service. Third-party names, trademarks, logos, menu content, trade dress, and other brand features remain the property of their respective owners where applicable. Their appearance does not grant you rights in those materials or imply a relationship with FatChance.

All food images are AI-generated illustrations for identification and navigation. These illustrations are not official restaurant photography and may differ from actual portions, ingredients, packaging, or preparation.

Images are not a source of nutrition, ingredient, allergen, availability, or Match information. Confirm critical information with the restaurant. To report a rights concern or request a correction, use the Content Rights page.

FatChance grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app while you comply with these Terms. Rights in the app, interface, brand assets, written explanations, compilations, and artwork belong to their respective rights holders to the extent protected by applicable law. This does not assert exclusive copyright in all AI-generated material. Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms and policies.

If you submit feedback, you allow FatChance to use it to operate, correct, and improve the service without compensation, while personal information remains governed by the Privacy Policy.

We may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service. We do not guarantee that every restaurant, item, feature, or data source will always be available or current.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” FatChance disclaims warranties that cannot be supported by the service and is not responsible for restaurant preparation, ingredient changes, third-party services, or decisions made without independently confirming critical information. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
